You may wonder why we are the only carding machine maker to offer carders with varied infeed speeds.  Our extensive research and experience in building large carders has convinced us that it is well nigh impossible to card all fibers perfectly with a fixed ratio between two carding drums. Fine crimpy fibers such as Merino and Rambouilet, for instance, need the lower drive ratio to prevent them from stretching out, snapping back and making noils.

As times and tastes change, so do our carders.  The trend toward finer and more exotic fibers, carding excellence and versatility have had a great impact on our design, the carders we offer today are vastly superior to those we sold 10, 20, or 30 years ago.
